The MIDOCO Group unites the companies Midoco GmbH from Hilden Germany and Umbrella AG from Wetzikon in Switzerland and has customers in more than 60 countries.

In his presentation, David Chappell provides an overview of the workflow environment of a TMC. With the help of Midoco software, travel companies are able to manage data streams from various sources in a uniform and efficient manner. These sources include GDS, online bookings, NDC, and direct bookings from Rail or Hotel suppliers such as RateHawk.

RateHawk and mid-offices

Here at RateHawk we have already integrated popular mid-offices into our system and continue to connect new ones. If you want to download orders from our system to a mid-office of your choice, then please contact your account manager. Connection may take from one to a few days — we discuss options for this in a separate article.

Integrating with a mid-office can make working with RateHawk even more convenient! As a reminder, our partners can choose from 1,900,000_ accommodation options around the world, air tickets, transfers and other travel services.

The Order Management System of Midoco is designed to handle all of these individual bookings in a single trip, or “Order”. Midoco Midoffice offers efficient Order management, an industry-leading Transaction Fee Manager, and a Task Management tool that facilitates easy collaboration within a team. By importing data streams from more than 80 third-party systems like RateHawk, travel businesses have access to a vast content offering, allowing them to both save valuable resources and offer better rates to their customers, thereby improving their competitive edge.
