What the two Gold awards recognize
Travel Agent Only Website: RateHawk
This award recognizes websites built specifically for travel professionals. RateHawk is designed around that audience: one platform where travel agents can book hotels, air tickets, transfers, and other travel services.
Technology Solutions: RateHawk API
This award recognized RateHawk API, which gives online travel agencies, travel tech platforms, and agency chains access to accommodation inventory through a single connection. In 2025, the API offered 3.2 million accommodation options, and the network of API partners grew by 33%, exceeding 1,400 companies.
About the Magellan Awards
The Magellan Awards are organized by Travel Weekly, a publication covering the North American travel trade and part of Northstar Travel Group. The program honors outstanding design, marketing, and services across a broad range of travel industry segments, including hospitality, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, and online travel services.
Entries are judged by a panel of travel industry professionals, and winners receive Gold or Silver awards. In the Travel Services category alone, 70 winners earned a place in the 2026 winners’ circle, which makes each Gold a recognition our whole team is proud of.
