Make Payments Easier: RateHawk Introduces PayPal and OpenBanking

RateHawk is committed to making your experience on our platform as super and straightforward as possible. That means our priority is streamlining processes and simplifying important aspects of your booking experience.

We recently launched several new payment methods to help us do that. When you book with RateHawk, you can still pay by card or by wire transfer, but you now have two new ways to make payments: OpenBanking or PayPal.

These payment methods are currently available in a specific set of regions. If these payment methods are unavailable in your RateHawk account, please note that we are working to make them available and cover a wider range of regions shortly.

What is OpenBanking?

OpenBanking is a payment method that allows you to pay directly from your bank account within the RateHawk platform.

What are the benefits of paying with OpenBanking?

OpenBanking helps to simplify and speed up your bookings. Using this solution also comes with other benefits:

  • Save money and reduce costs when you make regular payments with OpenBanking.
  • Feel safe and secure knowing your financial information is protected thanks to OpenBanking’s increased security
  • Make payments instantly from your bank account without searching for your bank card.
  • Enjoy limitless transactions that allow you to quickly and easily pay for bookings of any price.

How to pay with OpenBanking?

Paying with OpenBanking is straightforward. Here are some tips to help you finalize your booking and pay with OpenBanking:

Using Reporting or Orders sections

  • Firstly, create a booking without immediate payment. Then go to the Reporting or Orders sections, choose the Unpaid invoices, and find an invoice for the booking you’ve made or order you want to pay for. Click the “Pay online” button.
  • In the window that opens, choose the “Pay from account” method and select the country where the account was opened. Then click “Choose your bank.”
  • Then, choose your bank and click “Pay.” You must complete the authentication with your bank and confirm the payment. That’s it!

What is PayPal?

PayPal enables you to make payments online securely. This method rectifies an issue our partners were having with card verification.

Now that PayPal is a payment method, we have also launched PayPal BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later). It allows you to make purchases in installments without interest for six weeks up to 1500k dollars or with interest for two years up to 10000k dollars. This will help agents grow their business and earn more money as they will be able to easily sell more expensive bookings and raise the average price of purchases.

What are the benefits of paying with PayPal?

Skip the hassle of traditional card payments and pay with PayPal the next time you pay for your RateHawk booking. This payment method also comes with other benefits:

  • PayPal offers seamless capabilities, making it easier to process payments than card transactions.
  • Wave goodbye to transaction hurdles and welcome a seamless purchasing experience.
  • Use Paypal BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later), an innovative option that allows installment payments. Now, clients can afford more lavish bookings while increasing the average transaction value.

How to use PayPal
