How a mid-office functions
A mid-office is an accounting system allowing you to upload bookings from different suppliers, manage invoices and payments, and generate reports. If you work with a mid-office, processes are automated and all information is stored in the same place: this will save time and lower the risk of “manual” errors.
Examples of mid-offices:
- Sapeig;
- TINA;
- xMid — TraSo;
- Z.I.E.L.;
- MIDOCO.
How to connect RateHawk to a mid-office
We already work with popular mid-offices (for example, with TINA and Sapeig) and we continue to connect new ones. If your mid-office integrated RateHawk and set up a connection for you then bookings in our system will be recorded in it automatically.
Please note: currently, only hotel bookings are uploaded to mid-offices. As soon as this function becomes available for air tickets, transfers and other travel services, we will let you know.
If your mid-office is still not integrated with RateHawk, but you want to upload bookings from our system, you can do this in three stages:
- Contact your account manager and ask them for an integration key for the mid-office.
- Contact your mid-office, ask them to get connected to RateHawk and send them the integration key that you received together with the documentation.
- Once integration has been completed, please let your account manager know. They will also help if any issues arise during the integration process.
Integration will take a few days, and after that you can keep track of bookings wherever it’s convenient.
