RateHawk is an innovative B2B hotel booking engine developed by the Emerging Travel team. Our mission is to enrich everyone’s travel experience around the world through cutting edge technology and excellent service.

Main responsibilities:

  • Actively promote our new international project;
  • Expand and consolidate presence in the assigned territory;
  • Team management to achieve the planned revenue results of the division;
  • Monitoring and analysis of the team’s KPI results;
  • Organize the search and hiring of new business partners, as well as strengthen the relationship with current partners and conduct negotiations with them;
  • Helping the team to manage key customers;
  • People development, from hiring to training, to help the team get to the next level;
  • Involvement in the development and implementation of the division’s marketing plan;
  • Market research, reporting, analysis, and forecasting.

Our requirements:

  • Relevant experience. Ideally, 3 years of leadership experience (Account Executives/Account Managers) with a focus on go-to-market strategies and people development, as well as successful sales experience with track record. Knowledge in business development for B2B travel tech companies in the country is important, as well as networking with the travel industry, i.e. travel agencies, tour operators, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies);
  • Professional experience in the travel industry, as well as an understanding of tourism and the main online booking systems;
  • Competence in API integration and technology sales & deals;
  • Personal skills. Proactive, ambitious, motivated, communicative, action-oriented, results-focused, appetite for innovative technology, comfortable with fast-changing business environment, teamplayer, used to data-driven decision-making;
  • Results focused. You are accustomed to data-driven decision-making, metrics-driven and good with numbers. An ability to quickly grasp the features of new markets;
  • International mindset. Ability to understand and work in a wide range of cultural contexts, reflecting the company’s global presence;
  • Be your own CEO. Autonomy and ability to self-manage the responsibilities;
  • Language knowledge. Native English, other languages are a plus;
  • Location. Must be a current resident in Canada;
  • Readiness for business trips. 20 – 30% of working time may be needed for market visits or to attend events.
